About the Drop

It’s an age-old question among dog people: which city is really the most dog friendly? Our Pups in the Park collection highlights four iconic dog-friendly destinations across the U.S., perfect for strolls, fetch, and plenty of wagging tails. But which tails wag the most?

Each tee was thoughtfully designed in collaboration with a local illustrator from that city.

Like with all Mutt Dog apparel, we donate 10% of our annual profits to support nonprofit organizations in the rescue ecosystem.

About Lisa McCormick

Aside from dogs, what inspired your illustration?

  • In my opinion, summertime is when Chicago really shines. I wanted to capture the energy of the perfect summer day and all the good things that come with it: hanging at the lakefront, seeing boats out on the water, a nod to Wrigley field, eating hot dogs on the go, and lots of vibrant colors.

If you had to choose a dog name that's iconally your city, what would it be?

  • Me, and about 13 thousand other people, had a dog named Wrigley growing up. It really is a great name for a pup.

What's a must-do, mutt-friendly Chicago activity?

  • There's a really great walking trail in Wicker Park called the 606. Going for a nice long walk there is really nice. There's lots of public art and it was once a railroad track so it's actually elevated about 20 feet above the ground which gives you some cool views.

Every purchase helps mutts.

The Mutt Dog is proud to work with the Mutt Fund, our 501(c)(3) foundation committed to the wellbeing of mixed breed dogs. With your help, Mutt Fund supports projects like TNVR clinics and transport missions that create lasting positive impact in dogs’ lives, and their communities.

We are The Mutt Dog

Every good story starts with a dog...including ours. Inspired by our mutt dog, Neptune, we're on a mission to make life better for all dogs. Whether a part of our families or just the flap of ears out of a passing car window, dogs have a way of making our days brighter- and we owe it to them to do the same.

The Mutt Dog was created by dog-lovers for dog-lovers, to support the incredible organizations that provide essential care and safe haven for rescue dogs everywhere. So that every dog can have its day.
